Thank you for checking to see what we might need! We are very interested in reusing, recycling, and up-cycling. Our bet is that there are items you throw away that we might use or share!
To start with, we are collecting the cardboard tubes from toilet paper and paper towel rolls. We are also collecting cardboard oatmeal containers--really just any kind of cardboard cylinder.We are also looking for "clearish" plastic bags--not grocery bags!!!--such as bread bags.If you have other items that we might use for crafts, just contact us!Look for the barrels next to our welcome kiosk to drop items off.
We are also working with Mosheim School to collect items that they can send to Terracycle. They receive cash for these items that goes into a special account to support the school garden and greenhouse! Click here to print a list of items. These items include juice pouches, cereal bags, and items you normally think of as trash! Thanks for helping out!
