A creekside linear walking trail is coming to Rural Resources

Rural Resources Farm and Food Education Center will be installing a 0.5 mile linear public walking nature trail on its property, along Holly Creek and the farm property boundaries. The trail will be open during daylight hours most days of the year. Seed funding is from Greene County Commission, and from the TN Department of Health's Project Diabetes program which supports expanding public recreation spaces.

From October 1 through November 30, we seek public input.  The public can provide their input through two ways:

Thursday Nov 2: Public Input Meeting

4PM-5PM at Rural Resources

Hear a short presentation about the proposed nature trail and ask questions and give input.

Also please take the online (anonymous) Community Input Survey! A short list of questions so that we can listen to our community's feedback and make a trail that is responsive to our community's needs. Please take the survey by November 30.
